Murphy Bed Lab is run by Tim Parker, an online-retail entrepreneur who has spent more than two decades — going back to the early days of eBay and e-commerce — building and selling across dozens of consumer product lines.

That is the whole reason this site exists. After twenty-plus years sizing up products, listings, and specifications from the seller's side of the screen, Tim Parker kept hitting the same wall shopping for a Murphy bed: the listings bury the few numbers that actually decide whether the bed fits the room. So he built the comparison he wished already existed.

Tim Parker does not manufacture or sell these beds. He researches them the way a veteran online seller reads any product — specifications first, marketing claims second — and writes down who each bed is for and who should skip it.
